Pepper Lunch (One Pacific Place)

Very decent lunch and exciting sizzling one. HKD 103.5 (US 13.22) sizzling US cut steak 120g with vegetable, smashed potatoes, rice, popcorn chicken, corn soup, honey lemon cold drink with download apps as new member came with welcome birthday coupon.

You can't go wrong with this place. One can add 3 veggies by adding HKD 10 to your existing meal. Amazing food.

During lunchtime on June 11, 2018, I meant to have a Pepper lunch at Megabox, but it was so crowded. Instead of queuing and waiting which I hate, I decided to travel first and had it here after 14:00, as my day’s job was already done. Having rearranged my priorities, I could fully enjoy the food, the service and the ambiance here! Postscript At the request of our younger son returning from Sydney, my wife and I had dinner here with him on December 28, 2019. We ordered what we liked and did not waste any bit of the delicious food. Without any request, a multi-tasking fatty male cashier served us the ice cream sundaes!

As a health freak, so tempted to get the super value salads there (~HK$60), but would've been criminal not to have a sizzling plate! Famous for the sizzling plate, it's gotta be the only reason the food is so popular. Prices are average for eating out (HK$60–90), but the selection they have for sizzling plates is surprisingly extensive, with a fair choice of sides. Practically zero waiting time from order to getting the food. Served to table. Just beware your clothes will likely absorb the vaporised sauce!

Not a bad spot for lunch or dinner. Like any Pepper Lunch location, pretty much all dishes are served to you on a hot sizzling plate, then you just mix up everything yourself. Their signature steak or beef pepper rice is tasty and food here is reasonably priced. Good service as well.

Tried Pepper Lunch at One Pacific Centre in Kwun Tong for the first time, and I’m hooked! I went for the Sirloin Steak with a side salad (you can swap the rice for $8, which I loved). The steak was cooked just right on the sizzling plate, and the lobster-flavored cheese sauce they had was so indulgent. The vibe here is more like a proper restaurant than a food court, which made it feel a bit special. Service was quick, and the food felt fresh, though I wish they gave more of that pepper sauce—it’s so good! Per person, it was about HK$80, which is fair for the quality. Can’t wait to come back and try the wagyu option.
